| For Part-Time Flight Training OFFERED THROUGH FLIGHT SCHOOLS. Pilot Finance flight training financing is offered through hundreds of Part 61 and Part 141 flight schools in the U.S. New schools are being added daily.
HOW TO APPLY. If your school already offers our programs, just ask the manager for an application. He or she can answer all of your questions. You can also apply directly to us -- just click the "Apply" section of this site. Either way, the approval process takes just 24 hours. We try hard to find a way to approve EVERY application.
YOUR SCHOOL DOES NOT OFFER FINANCING? If the school you select does not yet offer our programs, don't worry! It takes just a few days for us to enroll them. There is no cost or liability for the school.
TRAINING SCHEDULES. All of our current programs are designed for flight students on a part-time training schedule -- one to five flight lessons per week. Flight lessons can average up to 2 hours of aircraft rental and 3 hours total instruction. Our programs can accommodate almost all part-time training.
INTEREST RATES. Our effective rates are as low as 9% for Preferred Customers who have a reasonable debt-to-income ratio and a good credit record. Please note that the examples in the table below are computed at our MAXIMUM APR of 18%. If you qualify for a Preferred Interest Rate, your payments may be considerably lower.
HOW MUCH CAN WE FINANCE? The maximum amount financed is limited only by the applicant's income, debts, and credit record. The amount financed in these examples is the Total Program Cost less the standard Cash Down Payment of $250.
FOREIGN TRAINING AND CITIZENSHIP. Please note that at this time we do not offer financing through schools located outside of the 50 United States. Normally, applicants that are not U.S. citizens will require a U.S. co-borrower with an established credit record.
EXAMPLES. The table below shows some examples of our current finance programs. As you can see, the maximum repayment term (number of payments) is determined by the number of lessons per week in the student's training schedule.
